Reviews
The food is good, but not amazing.
For example, the pasta is not made from scratch. The chicken does not taste like it's from a local farm, and the sauces are all very basic.
There's no complexity or layers of flavor, everything was pretty flat. I would guess standard white wine, unsalted butter (vs grass fed and browned) cheap parmesan and heavy cream are the dominant ingredients.
The prices are on par with Red Rocks, but the ambience is more like a deli.
The pictures on the website look incredible, so I was really hoping this place would serve authentic Italian food, where everything is made from scratch.
It's not.
I still give it a 4 stars as our server, cassidy, was fantastic.
Again, the food is good, it's just not going to blow you away.
Tasty excellent dishes with a great environment.. ordered the beets and goat cheese salad, pretzel with beer cheese for appetizer, and Italian sausage sandwich with Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries.. all were so delicious. Service was great!!
We made reservations for 6:30 Saturday night. We were seated timely but at a table right next to the kitchen doors. A bit of traffic.
Our server was Kristen and she was great! Engaged, helpful and very pleasant.
We started out with the Arancini. They were hot, crispy and had great flavors. We then had the beet goat cheese salad, so yummy. Just wanted a touch more balsamic dressing.
I had the gnocchi and enjoyed, brought some home for tomorrow! Husband had the veal picatta. Flavor was on point, the only issue was the breading fell off veal.
We enjoyed ourselves and will return.
We went after enjoying some great beer at Boondogglers in the same parking lot.
Nick and the staff there were awesome. Our server was on top of her game, and we never went without. Our pasta was top knotch. There was sooo much leftover for our lunch the next day. My Linguini Bolognase was excellent and the calamari was tender and perfectly done. The atmosphere was very pleasant on the patio and we left knowing we'd be returning soon.
Well done to all who took care of us.
I really enjoyed the food and drinks at this resturant. Manager was spot on and really knew how to lead the staff to ensure great and fast service. Not the most intimate setting as the seating was very packed. However, we had a very pleasant experience. Prices were fair and they do offer a cash discount. Mocktails are avaible and taste delicious. Would eat here again for sure.
It was such a pleasure dining here. Our friends are visiting from out of state and we just picked a random place near home to try. What a great choice this was! Both the staff and the owners are welcoming and very genuine. Talking to them was definitely the highlight of our night. We were also so grateful for their patience with our two babies that kept making a mess!
The food was absolutely delicious and the cheesecake is out of this world!! I also enjoyed the gnocchi and the Arancini rice balls , yum! Don't forget to try their homemade salad dressings, wow!
Been coming here for a couple of years and probably won’t come back anymore. Service was kind and courteous but my veal Parmesan was not good. I couldn’t cut it with a knife and it was not tender. Also after spending over $100 they tack on a credit card charge. Drinks were relatively expensive and they sat us next to the kitchen door although there were other tables available. Sorry Nick, I want to love your place but it is not good anymore
What a great little space. We enjoyed our brunch today at Mi Amiche on the great covered patio. The drinks were just as delicious as the food. They were packed right when the door opened. We now understand why. Our food took quite a while …
